Job description Thank you for your interest in our Childcare Teacher Position! We are looking to fill full time positions.
We are looking to hire teachers to work 4 days a week, 10 hour days, with one day off each week, OR 5 days a week, 8 hour days.
We pride ourselves on creating a family atmosphere, a home away from home for children, and a place children and teachers can be free to learn and have fun together.
A Typical Day:
Our childcare teachers are responsible for maintaining cleanliness of their classroom, creating developmentally appropriate lesson plans, implementing activities, ensuring children are the their main focus through the day, and meeting children's health and developmental needs.
Teachers will greet children and parents as they drop off in the morning and pick up in the evenings Serve breakfast lunch and snack Take children to the bathroom/change diapers Take children outside to play Implement teacher created activities through the day Engage and interact with the children to build strong relationships Make children the main focus of their day Work proactively with a co-teacher Required Skills:
Outgoing, friendly personality! Completed training to be a qualified childcare teacher, or be willing to complete training within five months of hire Willing to undergo a background check with fingerprinting Willing to complete a health physical within 30 days of hire Complete CPR training, mandated reporter training, and Abusive Head Trauma training Initiative to continuously build on skills Interested candidates should attach a resume.
Interviews will be conducted first with a phone screening, and then an in-person interview.
